Real Christianity - a fresh look at the Revelation of John

As a Christian, is to find really hard to see good films. There are simply too many films nowadays that glorify the lifestyle and actions should not simply be glorified.

When I came across this movie, I decided to see it because I had already read the book of Revelation. This film sounded interesting, so I had to try.

This film tells the story of the last years of the Apostle John. John was the youngest of the disciples of Jesus and the onlyafflicted. John is also the only one who lived to die in very old age (it was not until he was in his 90s).

Most of the story takes place on the island of Patmos, where John lived his last days in exile. During this period he received the visions of which he writes in the book of revelations.

What I like so much about this film, one different from Richard Harris as John, who is a very good actor, very human face it puts on the events in the Bible. Many people do not want to believe that theBible is true. Instead, they want to believe that this is a book of myths and fairy tales, although most of modern science has much of the Bible to be historically correct.

There are many scenes in this film that will bring tears to the eyes, especially if you're a Christian. When John gives his food to replace another prisoner who had thrown a guard that is shocking to the compassion of someone who is so little and yet so much to see, everything isspiritually.

The whole experience really deepened my faith and my heart will be softened more compassion for others. Brought into perspective the teachings of Jesus wants to teach us was. It 'really does not matter what the world thinks of you. What is important, as God sees you and your relationship with him.

Although biblical references in the Book of John, visions, revelations are hard to understand because you have to be investigated, yetvisually appealing, and you've become really curious to know what Revelations says.

This is both very spiritually and emotionally engaging film, which follows exactly what the Bible teaches both, and what does the history of persecution of Christians in this period, and the imprisonment of John.

I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to think about a film that touch the heart and make you.
