Cranelegs Movie review: 'The Da Vinci Code "

Just seen the movie - lose the book. Actually seen with my son, who understands me the stuff helped Catholic, raised Catholic, and soon graduate from a private Catholic university and all the Augustinians. Read the book too - hidden under the covers of his bed dormitory. I like that about him, to rebel, and ask that the challenge from time to time, in his quiet way. And I think that is exactly what Ron Howard has been up to this movie, you might secretly something of Mullbelow the ceiling and the privacy of darkness theater.

I can not say I knew what to expect to enter the film. I was fully aware that cold critical reception 'for the film. Even Tom Hanks has been hedging his bets, muttering warnings that the film can not live up to expectations that can not always hit a home run. I was also recalling the early lukewarm response from Dan Brown's faithful, providing an outbreak of scratching heads of those who had not read the book and then were sickprepare for the intricate complexity of a first rate murder mystery.

Considering all this, I sewed all my going-in position. Professional film critics seemed more cautious, which I guess could have selfish motives. Christians of all stripes, leadership, and were led, understandably defensive structures, so mindlessly spewing the standard party line. Dan Brown fans believed the number of changes to the plot have been intentionally designed to leave the players angrySymbologist Robert Langdon nuanced enough not to offend someone - something secretly on unsuspecting born again, and wanted moral majority types scattered among the audience.

As I cozied in my place at the stadium, I remembered how Ron Howard was so far managed to disappoint, everyone pretty much. I was sure to follow, makes me glad I only had the afternoon paid a reduced price for tickets. But a short time later, when rolled my eyes, I closed my eyes and my head fell onpage that I involuntarily began to think they were all wrong, the plot was only moving slowly and discounted tickets were stolen box office.

to infiltrate the film seemed inevitable for an open one-eye 'rating to the point you can close a "two eyes" (not good). That is, until the questions began about Jesus not unlike the' smell of freshly brewed coffee beckons me to bed early, I suddenly awake and ready to take over the remaining two hours of film.In particular, the first suggestion that Mary Magdalene was Christ could mate, someone who loved more than any other, that perhaps had a descendant, perhaps it was just a man. Everything was something I thought sometimes, as this novel-novel-cover looks good, and David Blaine magic skills to get the chicks. And what about the scrolls, and lost gospels missing? And the scene biblical oppression of women? What about the potential losspower over the faithful by the Church, if it were true? What about all these great questions of this beautifully wrapped juicy inside what's goin-on-the fact that the package of a crime of conspiracy.

By the time the credits rolled, my brain with new ideas, new perspectives and challenging possibilities swirled.

When we made our way to the car, confirm that my son had in fact paved Ron Howard, Robert Langdon, use it as a question of human beings, like man-your-face response. IFinal Howard intentionally softened the message is not afraid of confrontation head, but by the hope of an audience that might otherwise be vaccinated for a tribe to disperse striking ideas so quickly and dismissal, to avoid the risk of dangerous thinking. In other words, Ron Howard gave us a cold, rather than the flu. He knows that we are ready to work with the discomfort of a cold, but also vaccinated against influenza.

I assume that moderate religiousThis film stops for a moment to think, to show their beliefs challenge the mind to other possibilities in relation to Jesus Christ and Sacred Scripture. And during that opinion, he can return to business as usual "or not, but at least they thought. They kicked the tires. Have you chewed until it is too bitter to swallow or spit was too sweet.

Therefore, Ron Howard is elected, this interpretation of the novel. He was not interestedReach people like me. He was not interested in interfering with farming Pat Robertson. Dan Brown was not to appease legions involved. He was interested in those who need to touch a little push, a little reason, a little 'security hole on some interesting ideas.

I liked this movie. I really liked. My son liked it too, although the book is like much more - had, with all the codes and encryption to do, you know, puzzles. I gave this movie a "one-and-a-half eyesOpen. It 'was a bit' too long for my taste, but very challenging not to mention an exciting thriller, once received. I also read the book now.
